Smart Cities: The Israeli Experience in Water

This keynote talk on “Smart Cities – Water in Israel” by Prof. Beni Lew has addressed numerous issues related to water. Prof. Lew is currently associated with Aerial University, Israel and has over 20 years of research and teaching experience in wastewater treatment/ agriculture based biomass applications. Over the last decade his long association in India with IITs and NITs played a major role to improve the existing wastewater treatment system. Recently, Prof. Lew has started a Company titled ‘Tech-Bulls Research & Engineering Consultants Pvt. Ltd.’ in India and working on technical support and latest technologies for upgradation of STPs in the state of Haryana. Listen to him to understand the scenario of water and wastewater in Israel and how the system/technology used there can be made useful in the Indian context.
