The jewellery itself radiates luxury, so it was important to balance it while maintaining the sense of royalty. In the limited space, the designer made it as functional as possible. It was assured that the jewellery pieces were visible, everything was positioned properly with feasiblity. The designer duo Ar. Rajni Gupta and Ar. Kashish Gupta of Ark Studio, Hisar recently designed this beautiful jewelry store by the name of Suraj Jewellers. The design concept of the entire showroom is focused on creating a muted colour palette yet giving a rich luxury ambience to the space.
Design Philosophy
The overall goal of the showroom's design concept is to create a rich, luxurious atmosphere while using a subdued color scheme. Even though the colors of the space are mostly ivory and white, the glossy finish surfaces give these areas luxury. The floors are in cream colour with a glossy look which makes the ambience look absolutely lit.
Design Approach
In this three storeyed building, the ground floor was decided to be in the hues of peach. The designer beautifully themed the entire space in this hue, backed by the elements of white and off-white. The space planning is integrated in such a way that they bifurcated the basement floor with the central aisle- with silver jewellery on the left and gold jewellery on the right.
The design approach followed simple and clean lines with new, branded and rich materials being used in the market. Their major target was to cater to the country look and use branded materials which are highly durable. Amulya Mica’s HPL and Alu Decor’s ACP leaves a lasting impression on the entire site.
The ply and laminate work is done by Amulya Mica and the floor work is done by Simpolo. Every corner has an entirely different element. Exorbitant lights, stylish wall lights, fluted glass, corian tops, knobs in black and metallic finish, matte finish upholstery and impeccable polish work creates a phenomenal style statement of the jewellry store.
The focal wall panel with the wave design in the center is done by Amulya Mica and the finishes were done by the Asian Paints. There’s an LED strip running behind the wave design which is kept 3 inches embossed from the wall and the louvered style creates an impactful design statement. The staircases and the grills were CNC cutted in mild steel and AGL Stonelam was used for the stairs. Below the staircase, a plantation area has been created.
In the end, the store wants the consumer to experience the thrill of purchasing a pricey piece of fine jewellery. The designers truly made an effort to design an encounter that will enable the jewelry to tell more tales.
