This 8,000 sq ft beach house in Goa gives an expansive feeling of the sea take over with all coastal Mediterranean interior design vibes. The primary goal of the house, which faced the expansive, gorgeous beach, was to perfectly complement its natural surroundings. This four-story villa was originally designed to resemble a standard city house. To give it a more Goan Portuguese flavor, the designers made minor changes but completely redesigned it. Renowned for their elaborately designed luxury interiors and bespoke furniture and accessories, Beyond Designs unveils spaces from their Goa holiday home project that impress with their Mediterranean colour-inspired theme.
In the end, the overall design aesthetic produced serene, well-kept areas that were reminiscent of the white and blue contemporary Mediterranean interior design elements, punctuated by bold artwork, furniture, textural interest, and subtle classic details. Keeping up with the notions of curating masterpieces on the lines of maximalism and flamboyance, this home is a treat to watch!
European refinement, distinctive fabric prints, and finely crafted furniture combine to create the overall decor. Because natural materials like marble, wood, and local stones are used, the property has an authentic, intimate vibe despite having a predominantly white color scheme.
The calming blue is symbolic of the sea and the sky and exudes a tranquil mood. The Goa holiday home by Beyond Designs offers many inspirations to employ the colour in your spaces to bring in a light and delightful vibe. While the signature style of the designers Sachin and Neha Gupta is evident in the artistically crafted details, the colour palette corresponds to the sea and the surf in the vicinity.
In the living room, the colour blue brilliantly offsets the wooden paneling on the wall and the furniture in white. While in the bedrooms, paired with white, the blue colour lightens up the space, creating a soothing atmosphere. Rich wood tones and brass highlights particularly stand out against the blue backdrop, accentuating the spaces with subtle opulence.
The house is designed to maximize the view of the deep blue ocean. It has two sea-facing, white and blue bedrooms with balconies planned for the lowest floor. With bright and attractive mediterranean interior design colors, the space looks absolutely stunning and full of zest!
