India’s First National Waterproofers Conference by WAI

With the aim to highlight the importance of the most significant concern in the construction industry, The Waterproofers Association of India (WAI) is all set to priritoze Waterproofing.
The association will be all about meaningful discussions which will revolve around the crucial role of waterproofing in building integrity and construction practices. This first ever National Water proofers Conference & Exhibition 2024 will be held on 26th & 27th September 2024 at Hotel Le Meridien, Gurgaon.
This one-of-a-kind conference will witness the global speakers from different segments of the industry, covering the various inter-related topics line proofing, repairs, thermal insulation, EIFS & coatings, modern equipment and machinery, polyurea, polyurethane, remedial waterproofing, and relevant case studies. From foundation waterproofing to waterproofing exterior wall, waterproofing is a mandate for every construction.
This gala conference by WAI is definitely going to create a milestone in the waterproofing industry. This segment of design has more often been ignored even though this is a very important sector in construction. The conference will also serve as the initiative to collaborate all the pioneers of the industry including architects, consultants, contractors, and builders, with the motive of making it a primary focus.
Taken forward by the President of WAI, Mr. Sandeep Chaudhry, alongside Secretary Mr. Kunjjaan Popat, Vice President Mr. Arvind KG, and Treasurer Mr. Dixit Bajaj, the main aim of the meet will assure waterproofing to be the essential factor in the longevity and safety of a building.
The visitors will also have the great chance for networking, learning and collaborating with each other for future advancements and also exploit the various solutions and technologies through booths of leading manufacturers, showcasing products and services.
Amongst the many attendees, here are a few key stakeholders from renowned organisations who are expected to attend- CPWD, RITES, IRCON, MES, NBCC, IFFCO, KRIBHCO to name a few and prominent builders of the industry too. The interaction will encourage a comprehensive dialogue exchange between various sectors of the construction industry.
The Construction Chemicals Manufacturers Association, NAREDCO, and Construction Industries Development Council are also supporting the event as well as manufacturers such as Pidilite, Amchem, STP, LAGreens, Huntsman, Unicrete, Upgrade, Assess Buildchem, Graco, Bronco, SP Concare, Husqvarna, Supreme, and others.
